Valve selection and installation location
(A) the valve used on the water supply pipeline, generally according to the following principles to choose.
1, the diameter of the pipe is not greater than 50 mm, it is appropriate to use disconnecting valves, gate valves, butterfly valves when the diameter of the pipe is greater than 50 mm
2, the need to adjust the flow, water pressure should be used when the regulating valve, disconnecting valve
3, the requirement of small water resistance parts (such as the pump suction pipe), it is appropriate to use the gate valve
4, the water flow should be two-way flow of the pipe section should use the gate valve, butterfly valve, not to use the globe valve.
5, the installation space is small parts should use butterfly valves, ball valves
6, in the often opened and closed section of the pipe, it is appropriate to use the shut-off valve
7, the larger diameter of the water pump outlet pipe should use multifunctional valve
(B) the following parts of the water supply pipeline should be set up valves.
1, the introduction of water supply pipe from the municipal water supply pipe section of the residential community

(C) check valve should generally be selected according to its installation site, water pressure in front of the valve, the closed performance requirements and the size of the water hammer caused by the closure of factors such as

2, after the closure of the tight performance requirements, it is appropriate to use the check valve with the closure spring
3, the requirement to weaken the closure of the water hammer, it is appropriate to use the fast-closing anechoic check valve or slow-closing check valve with damping device.
4, the check valve or spool, should be able to close by gravity or spring force.
(D) the following sections of water pipelines should be set up on the check valve.
Into the pipe; closed water heaters or water equipment on the inlet pipe; water pump on the outlet pipe; into and out of the water pipe combined with a pipe tank, water tower, highland pool on the outlet pipe section.
Note: The pipe section equipped with pipe backflow preventer is not required to install check valve.
(E) the following parts of the water pipeline should be set up exhaust devices.
1, intermittent use of water supply network, the end of the network and the highest point should be set up automatic exhaust valve
2, water supply network has obvious undulations accumulation of air pipe section, has been set up in the section of the peak point automatic exhaust valve or manual valve exhaust
3, pneumatic water supply device, when using automatic air-supply type pneumatic water tank, the highest point of its water distribution network should be set up automatic exhaust valve
