In November 2023, WEIZIDOM Group was honored to participate in a significant regional project: the MCWD Government Water Supply Project, led by Metro Cebu Water District (MCWD) in the Philippines. Covering a total investment of USD 354,689, this project aims to upgrade and reinforce the water transmission and distribution systems in Cebu, positioning WEIZIDOM as an integral supplier of pipeline and valve products.

From initial bidding to production, inspection, and shipment — WEIZIDOM demonstrated professional execution and engineering excellence that contributed to the safe delivery of critical products within the required timeline.

Project Milestones: From Concept to Completion

November 2023: MCWD issued a bid request for multiple water pipeline products. WEIZIDOM responded promptly with a comprehensive and competitive technical-commercial proposal.

March 2024: The project was officially awarded to WEIZIDOM. MCWD confirmed the procurement order and paid a 50% deposit. Production began immediately.

June 2024: Full order production completed. All products underwent strict inspections, passed quality control, and were shipped to Cebu for installation and operation.

What is MCWD?

Metro Cebu Water District (MCWD) is the primary water utility organization serving Metro Cebu in the Philippines. It is responsible for supplying potable water to over a million residents, businesses, and institutions, with the mission to provide sustainable and equitable water service.
