Selection principle of plug valve:

According to the structural characteristics of the plug valve and the function of the design can be achieved, can be selected according to the following principles.

①It is used to distribute the medium and change the direction of the flow of the medium. The working temperature is not higher than 300C, the nominal pressure is PNs1.6MPa, and the nominal diameter is not more than 300mm. It is recommended to choose the multi-channel plug valve.

②On the equipment and pipes of milk, juice, beer and other food enterprises and pharmaceutical factories, it is recommended to choose austenitic stainless steel, tight conical plug valve.

③In the branch pipe, refining and cleaning equipment of oil field exploitation, natural gas field exploitation and pipeline transportation, the nominal pressure level is not more than Class300 and the nominal diameter is not more than 300mm. It is recommended to choose oil-seal conical plug valve.

④For the branch pipe, refining and cleaning equipment of oil field exploitation, natural gas exploitation and pipeline transportation, the nominal pressure level is not more than Class7500, the nominal diameter is not more than 900mm, and the operating temperature is not more than 340C. It is recommended to choose the oil-seal conical plug valve.

⑤In large scale chemistry: industry, pipelines and equipment containing corrosive media, the need to open or close faster occasions, for nitric acid based media can choose polytetrafluoroethylene sleeve seal cone plug valve; For acetic acid-based media, Crl8Nil 2M02T stainless steel Teflon sleeve sealing conical plug valves can be selected.

In the pipeline and equipment of gas, natural gas, HVAC system, nominal diameter is not more than 200nm, should choose packing type conical plug valve.
